New Gray Tabby Maine Coon Cat Art Doll by Max Bailey

I just finished "Catarina"! She's my new beautiful Maine Coon Cat, with tufted ears and big yellow oval eyes. Catarina is wearing her favorite calico dress, the one with the red rosette that compliments her cute red nose. Her favorite pull toy is Harold, the purple giraffe. Harold has wheels so he can go with her everywhere.

Catarina is a one-of-a-kind original work of art. I created her from my own design and patterns. She is made from 100% cotton fabric which is sewn, stuffed, and painted with acrylic paint. I sculpted the front of her face from Paperclay, which I smoothed into the fabric. I threaded her wily whiskers through the clay before it dried.

Catarina's arms are button-jointed, so she can be easily posed, and her striped tail supports her so she can sit up all by herself. She has cotton lace around the neck of her dress and around her wrists.
Harold is hand painted with acrylic paint as well. Both Catarina and Harold are sealed with matte varnish for protection.

"Daphne" New Tabby Cat Original Folk Art Doll by Max Bailey

This is sweet Daphne, my new tabby cat original art doll. She has a look of complete innocence, with her big trusting yellow-green eyes.

I've made a brightly colored orange, gold, purple, rose, and magenta striped pinafore for her, with two buttons on the front. She has lots of little details you can't see here, like her ivory high button shoes and her fish bracelet.
Daphne is an original work of art, designed and entirely handmade by me, Max Bailey. Her body is sewn from 100% cotton fabric. Her face is sculpted from paperclay, and she is painted with acrylic paint which is sealed with matte varnish for protection.

New Original Angel Cat Acrylic Folk Art Painting on Wood by Max Bailey

This is "Terence the Tomcat". With his roguish good looks and feline charm, he is surely an angel, even if, at times, he may be thinking less than angelic thoughts.

Terence looks out from a rich warm background of browns blending into black, which gives the effect of Terence having just emerged from the darkness. He is painted in acrylic on solid poplar wood. I coated the painting with clear gloss varnish to give it depth, and to protect and enhance the color.
Terence will be up for auction on eBay starting tonight, April 13th, at about 9pm EST. Please go bid on him!
